Prior to moving to the United States for permanent residence, I served for three years as an Assistant Professor at the Rostov State Conservatory in Russia. My teaching responsibilities included piano performance, chamber music, and collaborative piano, working with students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. I also developed courses for students enrolled in distance education programs. My students achieved success in a variety of musical activities, including participation in festivals and competitions.
In 2010, in recognition of my contributions to music education and my work organizing a local music festival, I was awarded the title of “Honored Worker of the Russian Musical Society.” During this period, I also served as a jury member for regional piano and collaborative piano competitions.
After moving to the United States, I continued to pursue my career as a piano educator while completing my doctoral degree in Piano Performance. In 2014, I joined the Michigan State University Community Music School as a Piano Instructor, where I have taught students of all ages and levels, from beginning to advanced. As a member of the Music Teachers National Association, I have also participated in concerts, lectures, and open classes at elementary and high schools, retirement communities, and churches.
As a recipient of the MSU College of Music Educational Residency Fellowship, I developed a series of interactive music lessons for elementary school students. I presented these lessons at Donley Elementary School in East Lansing, Michigan, providing students with an engaging introduction to music and piano.
In 2015, I was invited to serve as a Guest Artist and jury member at the 24th MASTA Chamber Festival and Competition at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan, alongside Professor Dmitri Berlinsky and Dr. Igor Cetkovic.
Since the summer of 2015, I have also worked at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, where my responsibilities include teaching applied piano lessons, ensemble classes, and music history seminars. In addition to teaching, I value the opportunity to perform regularly. Together with my Class&Jazz Duo partner, violinist Oleg Bezuglov, I have presented concerts at the Blue Lake Miller Theater and Edith Blodgett Recital Hall.
